-Below you will find a list of the many accomplishments our board completed in 2025 under my leadership:
2025 Community Enhancements:
Installed a brand-new digital LED sign, allowing real-time communication and improved community engagement
Painted the LaFrenier/Brigadoon Pool building, upgraded the connecting deck, and completed the renovation of the restrooms.ย
Completely replaced Tezel Pool decking, creating a safer, smoother, and more attractive gathering space
Installed artificial turf on the steps leading to the Tezel Pool, providing a lush, maintenance-free environment
Upgraded community monuments with refreshed paint, cleaning, and new signage
Added new signage to the LaFrenier/Brigadoon building and the Tezel Clubhouse
Added pickleball lines to the Brigadoon tennis courts
Upgraded the picnic and barbecue area near the Tezel Pool
Enhanced the Brigadoon Park playground with new monkey bars to support outdoor play and connection for our youngest residents
Infrastructure & Maintenance Projects:
Brigadoon waterline repair and installation
New roof replacement at the Brigadoon facility, coordinated to match the updated paint scheme
Removal of seven diseased trees at Brigadoon Park, with city-arranged pickup to reduce HOA costs
Tree trimming in front of the Tezel Clubhouse
Added new ceiling fans at Brigadoon
Replacement of water fountains
Repair of pool lighting
Repair of the Tezel sprinkler system
City Collaboration โ District 7
I worked closely with District 7 Councilwoman Marina Alderete Gavito and her staff to successfully complete the following city-supported projects:
Repair of school zone flashers near Braun Station Elementary
Cleanup of paint spills near the monument at the Braun Road entrance
Traffic signal adjustments at the Braun & Tezel intersection
Removal of brush piles st Brigadoon Park
Sidewalk repairs across multiple cross streets along Tezel Road
Street repavement throughout the neighborhood
Updated OakWilt map to improve community awareness and support our neighborhood watch initiative
Vision 2026
My vision for 2026 is to continue building on the strong momentum we have created while focusing on infrastructure, safety, communication, and long-term sustainability for Braun Station West.ย
Key priorities include:
Tezel Clubhouse roof replacement to ensure the long-term integrity of the facility.(Insurance will pay for majority of this expense)
Brigadoon drainage project to address ongoing water management and property protection
Landscape and xeriscape enhancements to improve curb appeal, conserve water, and reduce maintenance costs
Lighting and security upgrades, including the installation of a camera system to monitor both HOA properties
Replacement of the Tezel Clubhouse flooring to modernize and improve safety and usability
In addition to physical improvements, I remain committed to strong and transparent communication. We will continue publishing both hardcopy and digital newsletters every two months to keep all residents informed. I am also dedicated to improving our HOA website, expanding email alerts, and fully utilizing our Facebook page for real-time updates, photos, and increased community engagement. As always, I encourage homeowner involvement and look forward to hearing your ideas & feedback.ย
