News Blast Are Moving!
Feb 16, 2023
By now you should have received a notice or invitation to the BSW News Blasts Group hosted by Google Groups. As explained in the notice, emails sent to domains served by Yahoo and other email providers are being rejected. The technical reason is because the News Blasts are sent from mailproxy.citymax.local via postmaster@websitedynamics.com instead of directly from listserver@braunstationwest.com, so Yahoo is rejecting the emails outright and not even just marking them as spam, since the SPF and DKIM signatures don't match. The only alternative is to move to Google Groups or check the News Blasts page periodically.
If you already have a Google account, no further action should be required other than to ensure you're signed in with the same email address that you used to sign up for the News Blast. If you have a Google account but it uses a different email address, just go to >Manager your Google Account > Personal Info > Email > Alternate Emails > Add alternate email. Once you verify the alternate email, you should be able to access the BSW News Blasts Group.
If you don't have a Google account, you'll have to create one using your existing email address if you want to subscribe to the News Blasts. Otherwise, your only option will be to check the News Blasts page on our website periodically. After creating your Google account using your existing email address (don't create a new GMail address!), take the following steps: 1. Open the BSW News Blasts Group page at https://groups.google.com/g/bsw-news-blasts. It will say, "You don't have permission to access this content. For access, try joining the group." 2. Click the "Join group" button or "joining the group" link. 3. After choosing your settings, click "Join Group" again. 4. That's it! Please let me know if you have any issues.
At some point yet to be determined, we will stop sending News Blasts from the listserver. In the meantime, feel free to unsubscribe from them once you're receiving the BSW News Blasts messages.
Sincerely, Keith Riggle President, BSWCIA
